Folks
I have a friend with a ps1 railking k4 30-1118-1.
Torpedo steamer. The sound has failed. Spending his money, I suggested PS2 lol. He isnt interested/doesnt have the budget to fix it. Does anyone have the appropriate board and what would it cost? I'm going to try to do him the favor of fixing it.

Success! He's on his way to the LHS for a battery. We put a 9 Volt in the tender, did a PS1 reset and he's up and running. The first time he sowed me the engine was before I had DCS. At the time, I actually had that in my head as a thing to do, once I got DCS. It's a double win, as it is his wife favorite train. Trying to get him on the forum. he might also come to the open house, with me this yr. He's adding a 4th layer to his 5x4 ish holiday layout that has a train in a Christmas village up top, a subway level, a hand car level, and soon to have a second subway level as his wife found Batman online at kohls, with a 30% coupon.
