The battery is a 8.4 Volts. The release date based on information I got from MTH about a year ago it should have been a 3 Volt Board that is why I ask. It is a 5 Volt board but does not appear ti have the cap that GRJ pointed out in another thread as being the weak link in most case. I will set it aside for now and continue changing batteries in all of my 3 Volt and PS1 locomotives.
