Ps2 file download

Hello,

I'm trying to download a sound file from my ps2 engine to my PC. I've been following info. online on how to do this. The info. says there is a icon 2nd from he left showing an arrow from the train to the PC in the loader software, but I only have the PC to train icon. I'm using consumer loader v2.3 and a serial to USB cord as connection.

Would someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong.... That function was removed from the latest versions of the DCS loader program.

Barry's book recommends that you use the previous version of the loader which is still available from MTH.

Just for info, I checked the Protosound site and found both V2.20 of the loader software and V 4.20 of the DCS software.

If you are going to upgrade to V 4.20 of the DCS software, it says you will need to first load V 2.20 of the loader software.

Another interesting thing is the documentation for V4.20 says you need to load it into the handheld and TIU before you will be able to add any PS-3 engines, but I have added several PS-3 engines with V 4.10 of the software installed. Go figure??
