I have two locos in a lashup. One is a late model PS 3 engine. The other is a 1st gen (5v) PS2. Is there anything wrong with this?
Am I risking harm to either? They seem to get along well and "play nice".

No problem at all.
PS2 and PS3 engines of any vintage may be lashed up together without anything special being done.
