I see this as a topic elsewhere but did not see an answer. I have the following...
It continually starts up on it's own. I turn on my TIU powered by AUX power, then the Track Transformers and after 3-5 seconds this engine starts up and is in conventional control. I shut it down and restart it and it runs fine. I have one other PS3 engine that does not do this, this one is only my second. Any thoughts?

I have read through that post and found nothing there to answer the question. I have light bulbs, aux powered tiu, only 1 tiu, and only this new engine has the issue. As the other 40 or so engines don't wake up, move, or misbehave in any way, I expect it is something in the New Haven.
fold the caps over and re-route the wires:
