Is there any difference in the wiring in the engine , between a PS2 upgrade & PS3 upgrade?

Yes, quite a bit, unless you're using a PS32 board. In that case, they'd be similar, if not identical
Well, ? The basic stuff is similar. Motor, pick-ups, etc.
The PS3 boards have many more finer wires going to different places. The lighting is all for LED in the full PS3 board. They go to a 40 pin connector where the PS2 went to a 12 and a 8 pin.
The stock MTH installed PS3 steam boards are 2 separate pieces. One in the engine (boiler) and one in the tender.
Then there's the PS32......

Thanks Barry & Joe. I have done several PS2 upgrads, but I zaped this one I just completed! So I plan on doing a PS3 upgrade.

This is sort of off the wall, but the PS3 upgrades seem to be hard to find, does anybody know if they will become more available in the (near) future?
