PS3 Upgrade without smoke

H1000OGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I'm in the process of doing a PS3 upgrade that won't have a smoke unit. Can the POT for the smoke be removed from the wiring harness?

I assume the answer yes, just would like confirmation from an expert.

Yes, IF diesel make sure you remove the correct one. Do not leave exposed bare wires that can touch anything. Same with the wires for smoke unit element and fan. I use a pin and remove the wires from the 40pin connector. G
