While looking for a project to build, I found a Walther's kit for a C&NW EMC/St. Louis gas electric #9905.  Searching the Keilty Doodlebug books, I found that the CB&Q had ordered several EMC/St. Louis gas electrics at about the same time., #9835-40, with fewer passenger windows but all, like the C&NW, were baggage/RPO's, too, and probably very similar to it.  At about the same time, CB&Q ordered a number of EMC powered Pullman gas electrics.  All I can find on the net are photos, incredibly in color, of several  Pullman versions, but no photos of the St. Louis Car. Co. versions.  CB&Q #9835 describes like it would be the closest car to the C&NW #9905.  (overall livery  and colors are very similar to the Missouri Pacific gas electrics, red and yellow trim on the front, etc.)  There is an expensive book out on the CB&Q cabooses, but I see none on their gas electrics.  Anybody belong to that historical society and have newsletters with photos of their gas electrics?  Maybe they did an issue or series on them?
