Did or is Atlas going to make the "Silver Lariat"? Reason I ask is my wife and I road the car a few years ago and would love to own the model. Don

According to what I could find, the real Silver Lariat started out as a regular done car and then was modified into its current configuration under private ownership. The real pros will be sure to correct me or add more color of available.
Im taking the same approach in which cars I acquire. I rode some of the cars once Amtrak took over so I'm going through old photos to find the car names.
They did make it according to their website in 2012.
Yes, Atlas did offer the dome in the name "Silver Solarium" , but in Amtrak livery.
I also want a silver solarium to the point I bought an unlettered car and custom decals for it
Where did you get the same type? Don
Don, if you are looking for a Silver Lariat dome coach from the first run, in 3-rail, I have a new one for sale. The windows are not updated yet but I have the new inserts from Atlas and would include them.

I purchased the Western Pacific version (Silver Crescent?), purchased a set of CB&Q "Silver Solarium" decals from former Forum Sponsor "O Gauge Decals", and that the WP markings and name removed & re-decaled for CB&Q "Silver Solarium".
I got my decals from forum sponsor "Custom O Gauge Decals" as well. I think he quit doing the O gauge decals but you could ask him
