When in Super TIU Mode, is one of the TIUs a master (like the first one entered into Super Mode) with the others as slaves? Reading Barry’s book it looks like there is no difference in how the TIUs work in Super Mode. The reason I’m asking is I’m running my TIUs in Passive Mode. To keep the E-Stop function when using the DCS remote to run trains, I need to connect the TIU to the Legacy Command Base with the 50-1032 Connector Cable. Does it make any difference which TIU that I connect the cable to? Thanks.

Ron,
In Super TIU mode, as in Normal TIU mode, all TIUs are equal.
It makes no difference which TIU is connected to the Lionel command base, however, when you enter a TMCC or Legacy engine into the DCS Remote, be sure to enter the correct ID# of the TIU to which the command bass is connected.
Further, if that TIU's ID# should change, or if you subsequently connect the command base to a different TIU with a different ID#, you'll need to re-enter all of your TMCC or Legacy engines into the remote again.
Barry,
Thanks for the quick reply. At this time I do not think I will be using the DCS remote to control Legacy/TMCC engines. However, I do want to be able to shut down power from the TPCs and Power Masters when I'm using the DCS remote to control my MTH engines. The DCS E-Stop shuts down my Power Masters very fast on my temp layout with one TIU; wanted to make sure there were no issues in Super Mode.
Thanks again.
Ron
CAPPilot,
Ron good question for Barry no doubt about it, I was wondering about the E-stop myself, if it would carry thru to the Legacy engines & base. After looking in the book, it is my understand that the most updated DCS version, will control everything the Legacy engines do. It's one of the reasons I need to get my units brought up to the latest changes.
