How easy or how hard is it to a buy a Z-4000 transformer right now? Also, how is easy or how hard is it to buy a MTH hand held remote control unit with a TIU?

I believe Marios might have them in stock.
Jim good luck on the TIU with remote there are some with outragious prices on that auction site. I heard they were going to stop making them and ordered some extra on preorder.
Gene H, Thank you for letting me know about Mario's.
Shawn Chronister, Thanks for that information. I'm learning a lot.
I bought an extra remote from Nicholas Smith trains back in July. I bought my tiu and remote on EBay back in March. I did pay a lot more than most would, but it was new in the box so I was ok with what I paid.
Rumor from MTH is that another run of Z4000s are I. The works at a higher price point so if you’re not in a hurry you could get one of them but with the way the delays are coming who knows when that is.
Brooklyn Corey and MartyE,
Thank you for that information. Please be advised I'm not looking to purchase either one. I was only asking because I heard they are hard to locate.
DCS remotes are still readily available. They are in stock at forum sponsors Side Track Hobbies, Trainworld, and Mr. Muffin’s. You’ll have to go to the secondary market for a TIU.
Mike H,
That's great to know. Thank you for posting that information.
