I tried to post these questions earlier, but when I submitted my post, only half of the last paragraph posted. Trying again.
1) Will the CAB1L function in a setup where the Legacy base and the TMCC base are both in use, connected by the three leg cable?
2) Will the Legacy base respond to other CABS when a CABII is on the charger?
3) I have always had problems with the CABII, after fully charging, was turned off and the base unplugged . After a few hours, the base iy powered up and the CabII turned on, it displays "base not found" and requires several hours of additional charging to function. The rechargeable batteries are new. I have also tried turning off the base charger and using new alkaline batteries. Response is "base not found". A Lionel service center believes the base is defective. The CABII when used with his base performs perfectly.
As a final test, I purchased a CAB1L and, after installing new alkaline batteries, went thru the steps to set the cab channel to match the base. The Cab does not single or triple beep to indicate it has or has not found a base.
Lots of problems, Please help.
