All,

I need some help.  I am trying to power several TMCC components.  They are, in order from the Command Base:

ARC, BPC, AMC, 2nd AMC, TPC.

What confuses me is where the power connections go from one TMCC component to the next.  The diagrams below are inconsistent and confusing.  Here's what I mean.  Check out the ARC diagram (the area inside the red circle).

Now look at the BPC diagram.  That is consistent with the above.

Now let's look at the AMC Diagram.  It's different.  Question 1:  Is this right?  Why?

Question 2:  For the 4 power connections on a TMCC component (ARC, BPC, AMC, ASC), is there an incoming pair (the right side) and an outgoing pair (the left side)?

Thanks!!

George

I'm sorry, how is it different?  They just wired two wires to the same terminal.  That four terminal group has two connections paralleled inside, so it's electrically the same.  You'll notice that it's labeled A U  A U.  The two A terminals are common and so are the two U terminals.

Thanks John.  I definitely noticed the labeling and suspected that there was (electrically) no difference, but the diagram was different.  It was the inconsistency that bothered me.

Based on this, I can connect power wire pairs to these components using either of the A U pairs, correct?
