I purchased a Rail king Big Boy and I am having problems running it my yard, It appears the pickup rollers (only 2) are spaced that they both hit dead spots due to the stacked switches and uncoupling tracks. I have a Y6B that runs with no issues but it has 3 pickup rollers. Looking for a solution (add another roller)?

If the rollers are separate try turning one or both around to change the distance between the rollers.

Does the tender have a center pickup? If so, run a single wire to the engine. If not, consider adding one. I am wondering if maybe you already have a set of wires from the tender to the engine and there is something wrong with the connection?
