My heavily biased opinion says get the GG-1. The automatic pantographs are too cool, and while they're both too short, because the "traditional" size GG1 has been around for so long, its a bit more passable in my opinion than the very squatly compressed RK E units.
Either way, I doubt you can really go wrong, either one could haul the same set of Phase I RK cars.
They're all Premier. But the GG1 is the only one of those that won't run on O31, which is all the more reason why I'd still say pick the GG1.... all the rest can be bought full scale and still run.
