RailKing Controller Question

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the controllers that come with the RTR sets? Specifically can you use a controller from a Z750 with a Z1000 transformer. Thank you.

Yes for the newer versions. I assume the same for earlier production but am not 100% sure.
