Folks: Just bought a 6-5484 Steam and tender on auction (Hudson 4-6-4). Got the engine working well, but the Railsounds are very distorted. Any suggestions? Is it worth finding a new board? If so, where would I get one of those?

Yes, the 'new and improved' parts website is a mess. The old one was just fine. P/N 690-8215-T15. I see now they are out of stock, but had some a few weeks ago. But I can help, drop an email.
That tender has Railsounds 1. It was never very clear sounding. If you want good sound upgrade it to RS4.
