The catalog photo of the Undecorated version of the new Lionel "Heavy" Mikado has a gold ribbon right above it saying: "Built to Order".

Does anyone know what that really means? Does Lionel represent the Undecorated version itself as being"Built to Order"? Or, will they actually build one equipped to order?

The BTO thing is only in regards to the # of items of a specific product. Dealers will put in orders based on customer preorder in addition to any extra the dealer wants for "stock" .

It has nothing to do with locomotive construction.

I've mentioned it before, but the light Mike is a great size. It works as a dual purpose engine because it looks fine pulling traditional sized rolling stock, as well as the scale stuff.

I'm just glad someone saw my video! LOL!

The new Mikes are nice. She swallows smoke fluid like no ones business though.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what smoke fluid to use? Right now I'm using JT's Mega-Steam.

Thanks for the vid, BTW. Yours is the only one featuring the Heavy Mike in action.

It definitely answered a lot of people's questions. Not to mention give a final verdict on these highly anticipated engines.
