Hi everyone, I have that 1934 Ford straight truck in REA colors. It has a ramp coming out of the back of it. I have a 1/43 figure pushing/pulling a dolly with a load on it. I want to know if the REA guys had uniforms like UPS does. If they did, I would assume they would be in green and if so, what shade of green? All replies will be appreciated.

Thank you! This is useful information. I've got some REA personel to paint. Tis helps
The olive green uniform is what I remember. The poster has it correct.
Ditto...good info.
Whoops...another thought. How about postal employees unloading RPO cars, back
when the mailboxes were green?
I just got finished painting my man in Pullman green. It looks close to that poster. My guy is wearing a ballcap which I also painted green. It would have been nice if he were wearing a hat like the one in the poster.

Glad this question was posted. When I researched my answer,
it dawned on me that one of my upcoming projects is to make an
REA building. I am going to use the AmeriTowne Homestead Furniture
building and I have a variety of REA vehicals. Hadn't thought about
the figures I would use. I think the police figures will look good.
Thanks for great question!

Now that is a very interesting project. Please post pictures.
I agree about the police figure for the REA man. I have another of this guy somewhere. A little work cutting and moving arms and removing the billy club with a file, and a green uniform . . .
