Out of 3 Subways (PS3), it seems like I finally got 2 of them working appropriately. I had to part them out to get 2 to work. Now I have a disaster of a engine that has trucks binding, head lights/tail lights that don’t work and it’s missing a speaker. I did order a speaker and I’ll install that before I send it in. I tried trouble shooting the LED lights and trucks binding up this evening with no luck. Since I have it, I’d like it to work. Who would you recommend to service it. Or even better, since I’m new here, who is a authorized MTH service tech that would like to tackle this?

If you’re wondering how I got to 3 subways. I bought 2 at the same time. Subway 1 wouldn’t listen to commands
Subway 2 ran fine but the speaker blew within 2 days of purchase. I took the speaker from subway 1 and put it in 2. Meanwhile, I ordered a speaker and another complete subway set to replace 1.
Subway 3 showed up today and the trucks were binding right out of the box. Grease and oil didn’t help so I took a truck off subway 1 to make subway 3 work.
Doing all that, I screwed up the headlights in subway 1, it has no speaker and it has the binding trucks.
At least all the problems are in one place now. Lol.
Here in Northern Ca we have a very good MTH authorized Service Tech, contact me off line ane I will provide the Information.

Also a tech, but on East Coast. If these where new, did you not pursue warranty repair at place of purchase or via MTH? G

I bought all of them online from 3 different MTH dealers. I did contact the dealer that sold me Subway 1 that wouldn’t listen to commands. They told me they would contact MTH and get back to me but I never heard anything. The subway with the blown speaker was an easy fix to swap out a speaker and I figured it was easier to just buy the $10 replacement speaker from MTH than send the whole engine in. I purchased the 3rd one in the hopes to finish the layout for Christmas. But with the trucks binding and preventing the engine from running, I became frustrated and figured I have one subway already taken apart, I might as well take one more known good piece off of it to hopefully make another work. I obviously didn’t expect this many issues. In hindsight I would have scrapped the Christmas layout for this year and sent them all in for warrant repair.
