I have several Golden Gate Depot scale 80 ft. pullman cars and some of the window material has come loose in the cars. I would like to know how to disassemble them to reglue the window material. How many screws etc?
Thanks Jim, I will try to contact Scott. I know that white glue will dry clear but don't know how good it will hold. You have to be careful when you pick up one of these cars not to have one of your fingers punch out a window.
Ive used clear tacky glue before. It holds pretty good, just don't push your fingers through them. I used the liquid plastic cement on the Atlas CZ cars and that worked well too.
There is a special glue called canopy cement, or something similar. Model airplane builders use it to glue... canopies. It dries clear and will not craze the window material.
