Clean your contacts. Use an eraser and/or emery board.
Thanks for the tip. That did not get it done any other suggestions?
HEY EML,
Not having an issue but not sure what contacts you are cleaning with the eraser or emery on the remote.
If you have a photo or two it would help a visual brain only modeler .....🤤🤓
if the display lcd screen is bad or the mother board is bad there are no replacement parts available, unless you rob the parts off of another remote!
parts no longer available from mth!

Battery contacts... you've seen one; you've seen them all!; more or less anyhow.
Try a new battery(s) yet? (I don't care how new that one is)
HEY msp,
If you have used regular alkaline batteries ( whatever brand ) and you have some of the residue on the contacts ,try cleaning them up and using some ACF50 on a cotton swab to coat the contacts. If the residue is still present beneath the contacts use a little more ACF50 to soak into the hidden areas . If need be, work the area a little for more immediate results.
The ACF 50 breaks up corrosion and residue . After it is present on the electrical surfaces it stops future accumulation of gunk.
Then try new batteries as mentioned .
I hope your screen and mother board are OK . 🤔
No residue cleaned the contacts and traded out for new batteries.....I guess i am dead in the water as i only have 1 remote. I do have the WIFI but never use it don't like it ...but as of now i guess that is the only way to run my trains.....havent looked but I am sure these remotes are bringing a premium now.......Hmmm....
HEY map ,
Imperial o scale Trains has a remote on the net for $ 169.99.
It's been awhile but when I bought mine but I think it might have been more.
Dallas, thanks for the tip.
