Removing shell From MR 261

it is a bugger to get apart.

I have found removing the front cow catcher assembly gives just enough room for the running boards to clear the cab just be patient and keep easing the shell forward most times one side will release and then other will allow it to clear as well.

if they had shortened those walkways a 1/16" would really help.

once apart you will see a large rubber tube that allows the cylinder smoke feature it is held in place to cylinders by hot glue so don't panic if it pops off a dab of hot glue and all is good again.
