Does anyone know how to remove the shell from a Weaver Sharknose Diesel A unit? I bought it in the mid 1990s. i have taken out all the obvious screws from the chassis bottom, but the shell won't budge. It is a good runner and I want to see if I can put command control in it. Thanks.

Did you also take out the screws holding the fuel tank? Sometimes two of those screws are attached to the body.

AFAIK, all Weaver cabs are only held to the chassis with screws from below
You both were right. Only screws hold on the shell. I did not know about the two fuel tank screws. Once they were out, the shell came off easily. Thanks for the help.
