Repair and Paint Matching Post-War Santa Fe

Hi!

I recently got a great deal on a Santa Fe Dummy--the deal was mainly because it "had issues"...(see attachment)

Being new to repairs, I was wondering what materials you recommend, and how I might go about color-matching the paint to make this older train look good as new!
