Repair help with a Marx Military Load

As most are aware there are two different tinplate tank loads for the six inch Marx Military Trains . This will deal with the more common camouflage WWI style tank.

Has any one ever replaced the flint for the sparkier ? Can this be done with out taking the tank completely apart ? Any advise from some one who has experience with this is welcomed.

Any one who has not seen this tank in action it would be worth your time to seek some one who has one and is willing to share it with you. A short film clip would not do it justice.
