I received this from the auction site today. Talked to buyer and he asked if it is repairable. My concern is the best way to repair due to the weight of the car and the strain from when it get's pulled on the rails.
I'm with the previous post, some CA adhesive should hold it together just fine. I use the gel for stuff like this as it's a gap-filling adhesive. Put it on the inside lip away from right at the outer edge and it should stay away from squeezing out the seam.
Well that's good. Just wanted to make sure. Not wanting to make this any bigger deal than necessary. Don't think anything was intentional on the sellers part.
never hurts to ask, I have seen so many of those come apart in the same spot. I don't know your seller but I would highly doubt it was anything they did. Glue it back how John said and then get out the weathering colors!
