When I visited the Misty Mountain RR a couple of years ago, I noticed how clean the layout was and asked Mr. Griffin how he kept it that way. He said they sprayed it with something but the company had gone out of business. Surely someone either sells that spray or has access to it. Does anyone know what MMRR might have been using?
Endust? Sorry, couldn't resist. Any ionizing spray may serve that purpose. This product, which I used when wearing polyester suits back in the Seventies (LOL), came to mind and still is available at Target, Walmart or Walgreens:

Reading the warning suggests you would need to allow the product to dissipate before cranking up the old Postwar Berk.
