The Fastrack switch sounds like and lights up like it is working, but the switch does not throw back and forth. I opened it up and it is easily repairable if I can get the part.  The plastic arm that has a small plastic pin on it broke off.  This pin fits under the plate that slides back and forth that throws the switch.  The armature arm is attached to the end of the pie shaped wheel that is thrown back and forth electrically. , the arm simply swings under the plate.  But this arm has a plastic pin that broke off.    Where can I order this small grey arm.  It is really so easy to fix.

While I did not need the part you are looking for, about a year ago I was able to order all the switch parts needed to repair several water damaged Fastrack switches, including the small electric motors that engage the geared wheel you describe.  I would help to locate the parts diagram for your switch first for the part numbers.  The links have changed since I used the site so you'll have to search.

Thus small armature switches tge track and holds it on place. I tried to insert a small stiff wire, glued it on place. Thought it would work. But when I had to insert it back under the slide, the wire had to bend and didn't stay in the plastic armature even though it was glued in place.  In order to replace the armature with a new one, it will have to be flexable enough to get it back in place.  This is a main line switch and I need to repair or replace asap.

What do u think. Thanks for all the support.

If Doug types "fastrack switch" into the support search. He can scroll until he finds the switch he has.

My suggestion isn't necessarily about Doug.  It's also about others who might have the same problem, now or in the future and not know whether this part is the identical on all fastrack switches, or just on some of them.

Ultimately having the product number helps all of us -- as this is almost always the case with anything we discuss.
