I looked up previous wiring questions/responses on this site and didn't find what I needed. I do restoration work on Lionel Post War F-3's on a regular basis. Because many of these are 70+ years now, many have previous "botched" wiring scenarios- wiring sizes and types  of all kinds. Three quick questions everyone. 1) What are the proper wire guages (single strand or multistrand) for the a) from the power pickups going to the eunit, electro-couplers, lights, horn/relay & horn  units etc. 2) I don't like solder wire/electrical tape connections. Is there an "inline" butt splice kit/source for -that would work for these smaller sized wires used in postwar equipment wiring when needed? 3) What do you use/source for multistrand (3 wire) going between twin motor units?

Thanks in advance!
