Reworking layout turns out to bigger job than I thought!!

I started reworking my layout.Then I thought I have to move the trains.Then cut my boards so they fit.Then take the track up and rework the curve only to find I need some rail joiners.Well I did get a few things thou.I got to sides done and I have got rid off a grade.Had to cut the boards with a skill saw I brought from lows.I had no idea that a skill saw can be so loud.One other thing is my lay out won,t have a town or city.In stead it will have places between the towns.Say like a siding were the train drops of cars for a small factory.Or a siding were trains wait on each other to get down the line.Well this is gonna take a lot longer than I thought.But in the end I will have a better layout.Has any body with a big layout ever think?"Oh $#%@!! I have bitten off more than I can chew!!"

if your #77 is noisy the gear box needs to be filled with oil, or it did at some point. once it gets noisy an overhall is needed. best worm drive saw out there.
