Are there any more good tender shells out there available for purchase? I've come across several of these, and I usually just end up harvesting the smoke unit and the QSI board since the tenders have mostly disintegrated on these RK Torpedos form the late 90's. The shells are all eaten up from zinc rot.
The first time I came into possession of one, I contacted Midge and she looked in inventory but MTH ran out of shells a long time ago due to warranty replacements.
Does anyone know of a decent plastic Lionel or MTH shell that could be coerced to fit on that tender chassis? It's kind of a neat little loco and wouldn't mind having one to run for a bit.
