I may end up with one or more of these units and have noticed the units sit fairly high off the trucks. Several questions for members
1) is lowering the body over the trucks in the realm of doable or is it major surgery, and
2) can the trucks be painted. I am not a great fan of the silver color.

Body sits on metal chassis and clearance is needed inside for various parts. Mounting screws go into threaded columns that are molded into bodyshell. Cannot go too much lower, if at all, because this with interfere with couplers.
Truck sideframes are plastic and can be painted...carefully.
