A month ago I recieved my leggacy 990 set back from Lionel it would not write modules and the serial port would not function. I found this out by buying a new 990 set out of frustration. Well Lionel replaced the base with a new one and loaded the cab and base with 1.51. Everything now works just as it should with one exception, the new base will not make a cab or base module, it will do a backup on the base however. I also will not take a updated black module, but the cab will. Well to finish the story I called Lionel talked to their techs and we tried various things these guys said this is a new one on them. Long story short everything is going back so they can figure out what is up and hopefully this will help them as well. I have to say there is no better customer service out there than lionel and their people are wonderful to work with. Mike has a top notch staff there.
