Well, Its been about a year now since I upgraded to the Lionel Legacy system and I would like to run an MPC era conventional engine that I recently purchased. The only problem is I cant figure out how to do it. I keep refering back to the Legacy users manual but that just makes matters more confusing and the older I get the less patience I have. I'm using 135 watt PowerHouse bricks with PowerMasters and the PowerMaster Bridge. Thanks to anyone who can help me

Set the switch on the powermaster to conv. This will allow the power to the track to be controlled with the cab2.

I do not think the power master can be controlled by the Cab2. I think it will only run with a Cab1.
The Legacy Powermaster is not available yet. You can get a TPC300 and use that. I just got one and it works great to run my MPC and postwar trains.

He said he has the powermaster bridge, and that lets the cab2 talk to th powermaster. I have 7 powermasters that I control with my cab2.

If you are using the Bridge to allow Legacy control of the Powermaster, you should not also be using a TMCC Base. They will interact badly.
Thanks for the discussion, After a little thought I remembered that I had to set the cab2 remote to cab1 mode and then address each powermaster by selecting track 1 and track 2. Boy do those old MPC loco's wobble and growl, the smell of ozone is still awsome. Thanks
