A week and a half ago, our Somerset County Trainmasters group participated in our annual Summer 4-H Fair, which included everything from horse, cow, goat, etc. petting zoos, funnel cakes, cotton candy, remote control cars, live music, and of course trains.
And let me tell you, getting the layout going, running trains, and breaking it down in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit is no walk in the park. The humidity was unbearable, and the trains seemed to feel the heat too during operation, but all in all we had a great time.
