Well, it appears before the snow started flying, the KGB bought a couple of second hand coaches.  According to my contact on the railroad, the KGB's seriously considering running some fantrips come summer, but nothing is written in stone.  I caught the coaches, along with one of the road's cabbages, trundling along en route to Cherryvale on a shakedown cruise.

By the time I caught up with the train in Cherryvale, the train had already been turned and was just about to whistle off and head back north.

Guess the coaches will need a little work, they're still lettered for the Jersey Central.  I'm told they'll winter up in KC, where they'll get some attention on a time available basis.  Here's hoping...

P.S.  Happy New Year to everyone.  May 2014 be the Year of S.

very nice consist.  I have been trying to find a couple of the 60 foot Atlas trainman coaches lettered for C&NW for some time without success.  May have to figure out how to convert some other road name.  Also C&NW ran a lot of 2-6-0s on the branches with one or two coaches, or a combine car.  The tender was coal with a tall tender,  so far I have been unable to find anything similar to the E-6s to lead.
