That is a great-looking train room, and it's such a great job you've done.
I assume you have been fitted for your tailored white steward's jacket?

You are going to require proper traveling attire, dresses and hats for the ladies, and suits for the gents, right?
Only problem I see is the lack of available beverages available on the back of the bar!!

I wish, although I do have an apron
Here's what they really looked like:

Don't know if you could ever "class it up" anymore. Ever look at the way today's passengers dress to fly? Why folks are 5 times better dressed in depression era baseball park images, of course when you let someone with flip flops man the emergency exit on an aircraft it is clear you have no dress code!
Very nice!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing job!
Wow! That is absolutely beautiful. The bar is especially nicely done. I love it!
The "blue" ads look like the lounge at the bottom of the quarter dome used on the SUPER CHIEF! The ad is pre 1951, but I do remember the blue tint this dome had on the inside.
Amazing is all I can say. Makes me want to go back in time, even for just a day or two.
Well Done!!!
Hi Matt: Thanks for sharing your progress. As everyone else has said, it is fantastic. Looks like a very civilized way to enjoy your room.

Really good looking! I especially like the bar and most mid century moderne (with an "e") decor. Paraballas, starbursts, chrome, etc.
Matt,
Great room, fantastic idea for a man cave no doubt about it!

VERY COOL!!!
I have thought about turning one of our bedrooms into two roomettes like current SWC.......If I had the money I could see flat screen TV as windows running real footage from Raton Pass!!
Very nicely done. Cheers Jim
