I'm in the market for a Santa Fe Midnight Chief set and have found there to be at least 3 different versions, one by K-Line, one by Lionel and one by Williams. This might be a long shot but does anybody here have experience with all three and care to comment on the differences and which set might be the nicest? If not with all three, anybody have any experience with two of them and can compare them for me I'd also appreciate that as well.

I would go with the Lionel Conventional Classics. I have the NYC set and I like the horn as well as the growl of the open frame motor. It runs real nice. The WBB has a dull finish and the annoying TBII. Getting parts for KLINE is a real challenge.

My vote is hands down the K-Line version.
IMHO it looks better than the Lionel and I believe both A units are powered. Coupled with the either the 8 K-Line Black Bonnet pass cars or the 16 Black Bonnet freight cars and caboose, it makes for one very impressive consist.
