I am trying to put together a passenger consist to go with Old Rivets. the classic Lionel Madison cars are the right design but are not to scale as far as I know. does anyone know a source for scale Madison type cars?

GGD has offered heavyweight cars. American Standard kits are available for heavyweight cars. The MTH R50B express car is close to scale. 3rd Rail/Sunset has an REA 54' express reefer to run at the head end. There's four that come to mind. John
Rattler suggest full scale 80 foot cars. Everyone else makes 18" cars (70ft?).

Golden Gate Depot would be the best source. PRR P70 coaches of many configurations along with other heavyweight cars would be appropriate behind GG1 4800. While the GGD P70 has been out of production for several years now, the P70far variation is available in stock while many other scale PRR offerings are available on the secondary market such as the B70 and B60 baggage cars, the PB70 baggage mail, the D78 diner and various configurations of sleeping cars.

GGD and American Standard. Also, ahem, you could track down old Walthers kits for the P-70, D-78, etc and, like, build them up yourself.
