Good to know they are still around DBA Train Electrics. 

However I didn't see any information on legacy products.  Maybe I'm wrong and what I have was purchased somewhere else and isn't a type of TVS.

I just purchased a complete new DCS set to replace a rev H1 TIU that was declared unrepairable.  I'd like to install some extra protection for my engines, DCS and Legacy systems as I'm building a new layout.  Can anyone direct me to the current "hot" setup?

Tons of threads on TVS including evaluation of this product. Search TVS - a diode for less than $2 that will help do what you want went placed around your layout.

The DTK series surge suppressors were replaced with the TVS-4 suppressor by the time I took over the Scotts line several years ago. If you wish, I can email you the instructions that came with the DTK unit. Drop me a note at neil at trainelectrics dot com.
