Used to be into trains back in the day. Looking to get back into it. I was at a friends who now has passed on it he early 2000's. He had a steam engine I'm almost positive it was a lionel possibly a Reading T1. What I liked about it most was the aarrival and departure sounds. It said it was coming to the cressona yard and double heading to saint clair.  Would anyone know what engine I'm talking about? I would love to find this engine and start rebuilding my collection. Thanks in advance for any help.

The cab was engine # 2100,  18006 for the Lionel number. I wanted one of those years ago but could not afford it. Not sure but I would guess that the Lionel engine needs 042 curves.

Now I have 2 MTH Reading T-1's; cab # 2124(Reading Lines) and # 2102 (Blue Mountain & Reading)with PS-2. The MTH models need 042 curves to run on and don't like Gargraves switches, so I use Ross Custom switches.
