Does anyone have this part? I dropped one and after searching the floor for an hour gave up!! It is a small 'nail' with a twisted shank to hold the cable frame on the base of the car. See pictures. The car is Lionel #3650. I don't mind paying for it, just don't want to pay $6.50 to ship it!!

A well stocked hardware store might have them.
When I lost the drive pins for a runner grade 3650 searchlight extension car, I used pan head 4-40 screws / nuts as a replacement.
Jeff Kane will probably be able to help you. Go to his web site The Train Tender and send him an email. He is great about replying and having tough parts to find. Lenny J
Thanks guys. Jeff has them but it's 5.50 shipping! Maybe I can come up with some other stuff to order.
Dave,
Email me your mailing address and I will send you one.

$5.50 shipping! The guy could put it in an envelope and send it for .47.
I do realize Jeff is running a business and he can't deal with .25 cent parts one at a time and stay in business. I usually try to bundle my orders for him and he is always prompt, has the parts and usually ships before he gets my check. So you won't find me saying anything detrimental. He also responds very quickly to any emai! Besides, he is a Penn Stater!
Dave,
Your part is on it's way.
