I bought my Mom and sister tickets to ride the North Pole Express train ride in St.Paul in December.There are a bunch of fun Christmas events at the St.Paul train station and at the St.Paul Hotel also.They are not really train enthusiasts,but both are really looking forward to the holiday vacation.It is quite the rail journey:BNSF Metra from Lisle Illinois to Union Station Chicago,then Amtrak Chicago to St.Paul,then Milwaukee Road 261 St.Paul to the North Pole.I would love to join them,but working at UPS means no pre-Christmas fun.I will be living vicariously through them for the vacation.I will post photos and video of their trip after they share them with me.
Anyone else planning on riding the 261 North Pole Express?
