Guys and girls I had to send my locomotive to be worked on.I was dispointed by this one.Mth has a very good record with me.Until now what in the world was mth thinking?Mth needs to back off a little with the electronics.I love my early mth locomotives because they are pretty tough.I am hoping that it gets fixed. And I will have problem free operation. The tech will have it tomarrow morning.

I am certain they will do right by you. I had a Premier 999 steamer that diedm, new, a few months ago, and i just put it on the shelf -wanted it mainly as a model anyway and I just didn't want to go through the hassle. I know MTH is a good company and stuff happens. Please report on when and how it is repaired. I think a lot of people would like to know (I sure would).
I recently purchased an MTH Railking RS 3 that failed after 30 seconds. MTH replaced the DCS printed circuit board (the burned out component on the PCB was clearly visible once the shell was removed.).
It was repaired and returned within three weeks and has run well since.
These things happen.

I will try to keep that in mind.Still sucks big time thou.
Every so often a repair is required. Sucks, absolutely, but when you have it back it will be all worthwhile!
Hang in there it's not that bad!
