I Love the Shays,Climaxes & Heislers, would like to see yours 1:1 or O gauge.

Al, what a great weathering job! I normally run my steamers clean, after all, a well run and maintained RR company would have this. To my mind, there are a couple of exceptions, big articulated and Shays,Climaxes etc. My Allegheny is very grubby and looks right, my Shay will get the treatment soon.quote:Originally posted by CSX Al:

I finally found the Lionel Sugar Pine Lumber 2-truck Shay w/Legacy. I love the way these things run!
...and then RATS!!! factory paint flaw.... real bummer.

It looks like if you have one of these you go out an collect the other two.
I have all three that I am working an a spot for but presently they reside in a display case. . .
