Yes. The original name of the organization was the Branford Electric Railway Association. They were running three different trolley cars today. Here are pictures of Connecticut Company #1602 and Atlanta car #948.

Hope you had a great time and really glad you posted this. We took the kids there a long time ago. I hadn't thought of it in quite a while, but now it seems like its time to take the grandkids. And visit the Nautilus.

New carbarns have been constructed on vacant land the Museum owned just beyond the existing yard complex.

Since this photo, almost all the trackage has been installed, both inside and outside the barns, a concrete/steel pit track installed on the easternmost structure, and the new yard tracks connected to the mainline and runaround track. As of the spring, new poles were installed and trolley wire was starting to be mounted.

Visited the Shoreline Trolley Museum for the second time this year. Walked through the car barns and rode New Orleans car #850. I always enjoy this place. Aside from the trolleys, the shoreline scenery is beautiful. Photo shows a car from Johnstown, PA.

I live not too far from the museum.  It is worth a visit.  There is also a 911 car there.  They do Christmas with Santa too.  MTH is making a “Connecticut” bump and go trolley which is a facsimile of the museum’s advertisement trolley adjacent to I-95 in Branford.  It’s on pre-order.

Years ago l rode a trolley at a museum, out and back on a section of track, in North Columbus, Ohio. (1980's) . I don't think it is still there...anybody know what happened to this museum?

I remember my parents taking us there when we were kids.

Need to get back there and see it again soon.

Bring insect repellant. In summer the surrounding wetlands breed clouds of mosquitos. Noticeable if you walk the line.

As a point of information, the Shoreline Trolley Museum (Branford Electric Railway Association) is the oldest continuously operating trolley line in the US. The property was purchased from The Connecticut Company when trolleys were replaced by buses in 1948 and has been operated by BERA ever since.
