I would like to recognize Side Track Hobbies in Leonardstown, MD for both their excellent stock of new old standard gauge tinplate, and their great service! I recently ordered a new Tinplate Traditions 200 series reefer in Ivory/Peacock livery at a great price of $85. I have always been satisfied with my tinplate deals, and wholeheartedly recommend them for any of your tinplate needs!

A great place to do business with, Art.  Maybe the go-to dealer for tinplate. But a slight alteration on the name...Sidetrack Hobbies.

Al and Libby are fine folks and a go-to dealer for my tinplate needs. I picked up a hard-to-find O gauge tinplate locomotive from them at the April York Meet, and even though contemporary-issue tinplate appears to be fast disappearing from the scene--hopefully only temporarily--I'm looking forward to seeing SideTrack at the October meet.

Agreed, I cannot say enough about Al. He took back a defective 400E and replaced it about 4 years ago. Prior to that, when I purchased my first Tinplate set ever, it was from Side Track. When I opened the standard gauge set to set up, to my surprise, he added 4 sections of standard gauge track in side the set box. Class act all the way. He always has the hard to find pieces at fair prices!. Keep it going Al. Love your website!
