Since winter is close I'll be getting back to working hard on my rebuild. Right now my airport only has a runway. Soon, I will get to the buildings and aircraft. I have most of the items I need to make a fairly decent airport.
I do have a very long way to go. But still having fun!

1rst one airport hangers in middle of board.
2nd video airport at front of board
3rd video airport at front and ends at about 45 sec.
Ive since added a dock w/ dock light pole and float plane on one corner
but don't have pic yet.

I think he will get a kick out of it. I have a couple of nice models of what he fly's, a Chinook and a Black Hawk for the pads.
We are hoping he will be back in country from Afghan before Christmas. Be a much better Christmas if he is.

Great news, remembered he should be back soon. We think of you all everyday and pray for his safe return.
A Hook may have a hard time in that one LZ! Going to be a tight fit!

You're right he better hop in from the runway. The aircraft is 1/48 but not enough room to make the pad correct so I cheated on it.

"My" airport? Sort of; I am responsible for just under 3% of all operations at this one, so, yeah, my airport:
Once in a while it is just me, and maybe four tower controllers and 28 city employees, and nobody else. Thank you, taxpayers.

And we think we spend time and money on layouts, HA. I have watched that before , I think the older version and was so impressed I sent it to my brother in law who is a commercial flyer.
It is big time airport to say the least. The next thing you know they will have people walking around all over the place.
