The motor of this accessory runs, but its operation is erratic -- sometimes sluggish. It oftentimes "slips" -- there's no movement of the figures at all. I've taken it apart several times. It will run as it should on the test bench when the upper platform is removed and the base is exposed with the three figures in place and moving. But when re-assembled, the bad behavior continues. My diagnosis: the drive belt may be stretched, so it "slips" around the small drive pulley and doesn't turn the large drive gear. Perhaps the twist-lock nuts and screws that join the base to the upper platform are too tight -- binding the action. Your suggestions welcome so I can get it to perform for my visiting great-grandsons.
